About the job
As a Wireline Cased Hole Operator at Qteq, you will be responsible for performing the duties of a Cased Hole Operator within the Oil and Gas, CSG and Mining sectors. At Qteq we provide a wide range of Cased Hole services, including Pipe Recovery, Perforation and also actively pursue new Cased Hole technologies to introduce into the CSG markets. At Qteq, we pride ourselves on continual improvement and personal development of our staff. This role will have significant opportunities to broaden and grow with our business into the future. As part of this role, you will be required to conduct field work in local and remote parts of QLD and interstate as needed.
Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 4 years experience as an Operator

  • High level of mechanical aptitude

  • Radiation, explosives, and pressure certification, as required.

  • Previous Wireline experience within the local QLD Oil & Gas, CSG, projects desirable

  • PCE experience required

  • Effective communication skills

  • Ability to work in fast-paced, service oriented environments

  • Current Drivers' License.

Additional information
This position is ideal for a self-motivated individual who can take responsibility for maintaining, improving, and implementing the Wireline Logging Operation, as well as carrying out various other unsupervised tasks. This position is to start full-time, based in our Toowoomba Operations Facility and will report directly to the Operation Manager.
