Qteq plays a vital role in the responsible development of energy, minerals and water resources, minimising extractive environmental impacts, and safeguarding communities from natural disasters.
We are the leading supplier of Environmental Monitoring infrastructure products and services in Queensland.
As a total solutions provider, we oversee the build, factory acceptance testing, installation, commissioning and maintenance of these systems.
In addition to systems supply, we also provide our clients with training in the use of our cloud-based data management platforms.
About the job
Due to the expanding needs of our growing business and order pipeline, we are looking to add a Project Manager to our existing Townsville team.
In this role, which consists of both office based and field work, you will be focussing on the delivery of new environmental monitoring projects upto $4 million.
You will be also be responsible for control of the full project lifecycle, including managing project schedules, budgets, WHS & Environmental Compliance, sub-contractor engagement and interaction with stakeholders.
Skills & Experience
Essential Experience
Recent experience managing small to medium projects
Field experience in either construction, civil works, electrical, or telecommunications
Exposure to mining and understanding of mine compliance
Exposure to government projects
Knowledge of TMR Standards desirable
Skills & Qualifications
MS Office (Office 365)
MS Project
Reporting and document management
Quotes and Tenders
Strong communicator and ability to lead a team
Organised and responsive to client needs
