About the job
As a General Wireline Field Engineer at Qteq, you will be responsible for delivering Wireline Logging Services within Oil & Gas, CSG and Mining.
At Qteq we provide a wide range of Wireline services, including Cased Hole, Open Hole and Pipe Recovery.

As part of this role, you will be required to conduct field work in local and remote parts of QLD and interstate as needed.
Skills & Experience
Minimum 5 years' experience as Engineer
Engineering degree or higher level for at least two years with another Wireline Service Company. Preferred degree within Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical or Industrial Engineering
Meet all established criteria for Wireline Field Engineer in two of three types of Wireline services
Radiation, explosives, and pressure certification, as required
Must be able to perform all logging operations.
Certifications/training in Wireline Logging Cased Hole/Open Hole
Previous Wireline Logging experience within Oil & Gas, CSG, projects desirable
Effective communication skills
Ability to work in fast-paced, service oriented environments
Microsoft Office experience (medium to high level)
Current Drivers' License
Additional information
This position is ideal for a self-motivated individual who can take responsibility for maintaining, improving and implementing the Wireline Logging Operation, as well as carrying out various other unsupervised tasks.
This position is to start as casual full-time, based in our Toowoomba Operations Facility and will report directly to the Operations Manager.
We are based in Toowoomba, QLD, and you must live in Queensland, preferably Brisbane, Gold Coast, Chinchilla, Dalby areas.
We will provide accommodation while you are working in the Toowoomba office and workshop, or away from home.
