30 September 2018 at 2:01:00 pm

“Agreement creates a strategic platform which transforms the production optimisation model in Australia, combining Qteq’s unparalleled service delivery capabilities with GEOPSI’s advanced CSG monitoring solutions.”

Qteq Pty Ltd announced that it has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with GEO Pressure Systems International Inc. (GEOPSI), providing the worlds’ leading specialist downhole monitoring solutions.

The agreement, effective today, states that Qteq will be the sole supplier of GEOPSI downhole monitoring products throughout Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea, with considerable focus on the Queensland coal seam gas market.

“The agreement combines the forces of two exceptional “technology” organisations, and we look forward to further increasing our unique and market leading position. Our locally trained Australian workforce delivers exceptional customer service, world class safety performance and, combining this with the full range of GEOPSI led product innovations, will enable our customers to improve production, reduce their overall well cost and importantly meet their operational KPI’s. It’s an exciting time with multiple opportunities ahead, and we look forward to making additional announcements on our successful technology trials in the coming months from our Toowoomba Centre of Excellence” said Ewan Meldrum, Chief Operating Officer of Qteq. “We are creating high value jobs in regional Australia by scouring the world for the very best.”

Nick Nazarovs, Region Business Development Manager at GEOPSI is exuberant about the continued company partnership “The commitment of both companies to safety, commercially innovative technology development and service excellence is second to none. Whilst we have been successful thus far, we will continue to develop technologies that solve our customers’ data problems while ensuring we can commercially be responsive to pressure on capital budgets. Our focus on wire-based technologies has provided exceptional company growth to date, however our new direction is the development and installation of wireless based technologies which we believe will change the entire CSG approach to monitoring production performance.”

The exclusive distribution agreement solidifies an 8 year collaboration between the companies, that has to date delivered over 6,000 systems across the entire Australian subsurface. We Monitor & Measure using technology to protect our social license to operate and build community trust in our industry. The combined focus on best-in-class service quality, high volume engineered-solutions, safety and downhole installation success has seen both companies accelerate their position to become the preeminent production optimization partnership in Australasia.
