Brothers Netball Club shoots goals with new sponsor

31 March 2018 at 2:00:00 pm

Toowoomba georesources technology company Qteq is giving $3,000 in sponsorship to  Toowoomba’s local girls netball club – Brothers Netball Club (previously Amazons Netball Club).

Qteq Operations Manager Adam Fitz-Henry said they were excited to give back to the community and promote a healthy lifestyle to young women in the area.

“Qteq faced some incredible challenges in 2017, and it was the local Toowoomba community that embraced and supported us,” Mr Fitz-Henry said.

“Given the difficulties faced by the club’s former namesake last year and that the majority of our staff are locals, we wanted to help get them back on track. So we’re really happy we can assist.”

Brothers Netball Club President Bronwyn Hunter said the club was very grateful to have a community that was willing to support them coming into the next season.

“It’s a great opportunity and we are lucky to have the whole Toowoomba community behind us,” Ms Hunter said.
