PRODUCT LINES

Disaster Mitigation & Alert

Through the acquisition of Prospect Environmental in October 2020, Qteq has expanded its portfolio of products and services to include the supply of Disaster Mitigation & Alert systems.

This has allowed Qteq to integrate its intelligent sensors into these Smart infrastructure systems to deliver advanced situational awareness capabilities, that are able to alert communities prone to impacts of weather events.

Since the first Smart Sentinel installation in 2013 in rural Queensland, uptake of these standalone smart systems has grown significantly, with our client base now including regional governments, councils, and authorities.

Through the use of wireless mass notification solutions, we are able to help protect local communities from hazards triggered by extreme weather events, and to minimize impacts on assets and ecosystems.

As a total solutions provider, we also oversee the build, factory acceptance testing, installation, commissioning and maintenance of these systems, and train client staff in the use of our cloud-based data management platforms to visualize actionable intelligence, using intuitive configurable dashboards.

Environmental Monitoring

Qteq’s Environmental Monitoring solutions target the water and CCS industries. They encompass a diverse portfolio of point and distributed sensor technologies and sampling systems that can be deployed at or below ground level.

The systems provide continuous, real-time visibility to the distribution, movement and quality of surface-water and groundwater resources, and the migration of injected CO2 plumes.

Our monitoring systems are available in a variety of architectures, with subsurface sensors able to be deployed on casing, pipe, micro-coil or cable. Subsurface sensors can also be combined with our Q-Tube AquiSample system, which can be installed in bores with high headspace pressure, and to depths up to 2,000 m.

We focus on platform technologies that can be scaled to meet high volume demand, and supplied at an appropriate price point. The main technology platforms include:

  • Single end-point downhole pressure and temperature monitoring

  • Low-flow bladder or double valve pump sampling systems

  • Water chemistry sensors

  • Multi-zone downhole pressure and temperature monitoring

  • Optical distributed temperature sensing

  • Optical distributed acoustic sensing

Energy Resource Monitoring

Qteq’s Energy Resource Monitoring solutions target the oil and gas and CSG industries. They encompass a diverse portfolio of point and distributed sensor technologies that can be deployed to provide continuous, real-time visibility to reservoir development and production, verify well integrity, and diagnose the performance and health of completions equipment.

These monitoring systems are available in a variety of architectures, and can be deployed on casing, pipe, micro-coil or armoured cable, with measurements transmitted to surface using a variety of wired and wireless techniques.

Access to continuous real-time in-situ data is vital to accelerating decision-making processes, inform workflows and shape a wide range of reservoir development and production strategies. However, these solutions must be engineered to deliver the right type of data, at the required update rate, and with appropriate accuracy, repeatability and resolution.

We therefore offer a wide range of sensor technologies that can withstand harsh in-situ conditions, can be scaled to meet high volume demand, and supplied at an appropriate price point. The main technology platforms include:

  • Single end-point downhole pressure and temperature monitoring

  • Multi-zone downhole pressure and temperature monitoring

  • Optical distributed temperature sensing

  • Optical distributed acoustic sensing

  • Wellbore and borehole fluid level monitoring

  • Wireless electromagnetic downhole telemetry

Wireline Logging & Intervention

Qteq’s Wireline Logging and Intervention division offers one of the largest tool suites available on the Australian market today.

Our open hole logging capabilities include a full set of combinable tools, rated to oilfield specifications (165 °C, 20,000 psi).

We also offer an extensive selection of smaller diameter logging tools, with lower temperature and pressure ratings. These are ideally suited for cost effective CSG logging operations and mineral, geotechnical, environmental and groundwater applications.

Many of these small diameter systems also have combined sensors that reduce the number of logging runs required to obtain a comprehensive set of formation evaluation data.

In addition to our Open Hole Logging services, we also offer a wide range of Cased Hole logging and intervention services, including:

  • Casing Integrity and Inspection

  • Cement Evaluation

  • Casing Perforating

  • Plug Setting

  • Pipe Recovery

Qteq’s range of logging and intervention systems is deployed from a variety of Logging Trucks & Trailers that have been customised for use in onshore applications across Oil & Gas, Coal Seam Gas, mining and groundwater bores.

In addition to providing equipment and personnel to conduct wireline campaigns, Qteq also offers advanced data processing, analysis and interpretation services.
