About the job

To meet the growing demands for our products and services, Qteq has a number of Field Technician roles available, from entry level through to highly experienced.

All roles available are fulltime permanent positions on a 16 day on / 10 day off roster, working on long term contracts that have been recently secured by the business.

As part of the operations team you will report to Operations Supervisor and you will have the opportunity to work with and install our ground-breaking new Q-Fi downhole wireless technologies.

Additionally, you will be working on our industry leading wired permanent downhole monitoring systems and our other downhole monitoring and sampling technologies.

All Field Technicians will receive relevant training to become proficient in the installation of our technologies. Our extensive in-house training program offers the opportunity to learn and acquire new high-tech skills.

Skills & Experience
  • Relevant industry experience is desirable but not essential

  • Previous experience installing downhole gauge systems would be beneficial

  • Good technical aptitude

  • Exemplary safety attitude

  • Ability to work away from home

  • Open manual driver's licence

  • Proficient in the use of MS Office (Office 365)

  • Good English written and verbal communication skills

  • Organised and responsive to client needs

  • A “can-do” problem solving approach
